how do i need to go about cleaning my new lifters? do i need to just spray them down with brake cleaner, or do i soak them in it? then does the brake cleaner just dry off or do i need to wipe them down or what?

 

i just did this because a few was stuck

what i did is soaked them in marvins mystery oil for a couple hours, then i took them apart cleaned everything really well. put them back together and i soaked them in oil with a little marvin mystery oil mixed in with it.
