Default TB bypass

This may sound stupid but my z28 is my first car and i still dont know what a TB bypass is. ive heard lots of people doing this and was wondering if i actually works and what it is.

To put it in short, The radiator fluid is moved through a throttle body...with the bypass its just a piece of rubber that connects to the other piece so the fluid isnt move through the TB. Its used so the TB doesnt get as hot. There arent any proven gains with it but it never hurts

Actaully, yes there are. It has definitely been proven that it will get you at least a little bit more power.

Like Mark1130 showed it does help you gain power. Basically during driving around town the hotter you car gets the more you are saving power over not having the TB coolant bypassed.
