I got a came from goautocenter.com that is a regrind on a gm billet core that was on a 109 lsa. It was reground to the hotcam specs 218/228 .492/.492, I wanted to try something different. I had pcmforless email a tune and it runs good. Granted the cam you want is a little bigger, but I think you could get it sorted out. I am no expert on this subject but my car runs fine. I had a zz3 cam before, had more torque, but this cam has more topend. I haven't gone to track yet, 2nd gear starting to grind, but pulls strong. oh yeah, mine is a 93 m6, so I am there with you on the speed density issue.

To be completly honest, I dont know the answer to your question but both of you guys should check out www.speeddensity.org if you havent already for all of your speed desnity needs. Lots of good guys over there that know a whole heck of a lot more than I do. Good luck with your cam situation.

This cam on both LSA's is going to have large overlap which is the important thing to look at here. Generally, more overlap will generate more torque accross the rpm range with the expence of a more peaky motor. Less overlap will reduce the torque but will also max out at higher rpm and be more civil to use.
Both these cams are going to run strong but will be very rough.
