Do you want to convert it just to tune it?

Why do you need to do that?

it is waaaay cheaper to tune obd1 than obd2.. LT1 edit=500, Tunercat=70 bucks...http://madz28.com/9697.php.. He will tune your pcm and send u the conversion also. Also he will give you 60.00 core or somethin like that for yours

All you need is an OBD1 ecm and the appropriate software and cable if you plan on tuning it. Got my ecm off ebay for $50 and the cable came from akmcables.com and tunercat for $90. You have to turn off a diagnostic code (I think its 42 or 43, not sure) for the knock sensor or it will automatically pull something like 10 degrees of timing due to the different resistance in the knock sensors from OBD1 and OBD2.

It's 43.

I was hoping you would jump in since I don't have tunercat at my disposal at the moment. Yer the one that told me about that and it's been awhile since I had to do that.

Edit is only $250 for one PCM.

Tunercat is definitely still cheaper though (and more capable).
