Default Anyone have pics of true duels on LT1's

The car i just bought has long tubes and flowmaster catback system. I would like to do something different and put a true duel on it. It seems like it would have to hang low, so i was curious as if anyone has done this and had any pics. I would use Dynomax bullet mufflers. Probably would sound like crap, just want to try something different. Thanks

www.ls1sounds.com has several pics of true duals. I have true duals on mine with bullets, it's loud but I like it. I've had them on for a year and have only scraped them twice, once was a huge pothole I didn't see in a parking lot and the other was when I tried to straddle a small curb in a parking lot that was full. I like them, just wish I could run them out the back easily.

I am going with true duals soon as well....as for the dynomax mufflers sounding like crap I don't think you have researched that too well...I know a few and have heard many fbodies with the dynomax mufflers on them and they sound great

Has anyone done a true duel without a x-pipe or h-pipe?

No x or h pipe here. Maybe I should, that might quieten it down a bit.

OK, if I decide to go with a x-pipe (still havent decided), who makes them for LT1's or do you just buy the x and put the small pieced of tubing together yourself and kinda custom fit it? Also, thanks for the replies guys without being rude. I know im asking alot of questions, just want to do this right. I posted this same thing on camaroz28.com and already have one guy who just had to be a smart a$$!

Somebody makes a true dual with x pipe for F bodies but I can't think of who it is right now. There's always yer local muffer shop too, if you trust them.

Bassani. They make an LS1 system, but it is easily modified for an LT1.

I kinda figured I could modify a LS1 kit to fit. Yet i still might just go true duels without the x-pipe. Its a winter project, so I have a while to decide. Thanks

Texas Speed makes a kit that will work with just about any LT header. Theyre a sponcer too. Custom is another way to go. Summit sells a x-pipe that you could easily get fitted up to you headers at any half-way decent exhaust shop.
