Could be a number of things. How many miles are on it? 
my car is kinda spitting flames
my car is kinda spitting flames The past few night I've heard from quite a few people that my car is kinda spitting flames....... Not like a huge fireball or anything more of a white glow when I am gunning it and let off the gas. Dunno what could be the cause other than running rich as hell. I'm not through any codes so I don't think a plug is fouled out and I'm mis-firing. Any suggestions as to what would cause this?

you just put long tube and removed the cats...............then you are running rich.....it happend to mine and my brothers too....after these mods...get your car tuned and you'll see it will run stronger than now......not saying it's necessary but just an idea...

the flames do look cool.I had my LTs put on with a gutted cat before my cam and I havent had anything close to this happening. Have never had a tune either.

They do this stock, as evidenced by my stock 95 Z28 a4 with a cutout and gutted (not my idea) cats. I was told this is normal, and due to a the injectors having a short period of time from going WOT to nothing, they cant stop spraying instantly and the extra lit bit gets burned out the exhaust.. I relaize that came out jarbled but I was on the phone. I wouldnt worry.
