Default Should I get these?

Headers I'm giving serious thought to buying these headers with the Y-pipe tomorrow. If you guys could be honest and tell me what you think about these headers, I would really appreciate it. Do you think I will have problems, will it bolt right on to my current exhaust? (I have flowmasters with no cat) Are they crappy and might give me problems down the road? Does it come with everything I will need for installation? Will I need different bolts or something? Gaskets? Maybe better ones? Anybody have them or know someone who does? Thank you for the help in advance.

Has anyone used a spray coating? Those don't seem too bad. If you have a good feeling about them go ahead and pick them up.

I thought those were pacesetters? Also, what do you mean buying from ebay has its ups and downs? Where would I get a set of pacesetters that your talking about? Some local store, or online somewhere? These seem like a good deal, but they will end up rusting, right? With the Y-pipe, it will come out to about 410 without shipping. I figure that's not too bad. Do you guys agree?

Also, someone else said they delt with these people before. Did the headers last you for a long time? Why did you end up getting something different? What did you end up getting and was that a good deal also? Thanks

This place has Pacesetter

Just for your info...All headers will eventually rust, no matter WHAT coating you put on them. Ceramic coating found on Jet Hot LT's etc. is made for transfering heat out of the primaries and keeping your engine and its surroundings much more cool.

im using a coating spray on my first set for the 95 they seem to be fine, no rusting and the headers look like new besides the dirt. i got the coating from summit and about 5 cans and 3 coatings with heat treatment there fine.

That place has the same pacesetter headers that are on ebay. (The ones I showed you) They are the same price, but the difference is ebay has the matching Y-pipe. They had some Y-pipes on that site for like 250 or something. The matching Y-pipe for 125 seems pretty reasonable now. Will it be a "huge" difference if I don't get coated? Because I could always wait a little longer and get the coated ones...I just personally thought it didn't mater. Also, I have flowmasters without the cat. When I first got my car, the people told me it came with flowmasters. So my questions is, what size do you think my exhaust is? I haven't gotten under to measure, but would the basic flowmaster exhaust set up be 2.5'? That's what i thought. Now, does that mean I have to get 2.5' headers? I would think so, otherwise I would have to get bigger pipes, correct?

Coating only helps with heat transfer. Like stated above, just get some spray that coats the headers and put a few cans on. Is your existing system welded or clamped? If it's welded, you're going to need to cut it, then get some sort of coupler to connect a 2.5" pipe to a 2.5" pipe. Those headers seem fine, I would pick some up with some spray, coat them and let them dry . They will look better too. If the car still has the stock tips, then it's probably the stock cat back system. Someone may have put Flowmaster mufflers in.

What is the stock cat-back system? If it is the stock cat-back system, what should I get it changed to, if anything? (What type of change would be best for those headers)

Alright, I tried to send a message to him, but it said cannot find member. Is he not on Ls1 tech anymore, or did you not spell his name right?
