what do you guys think about a hotcam kit on a stock ta 1996 ws6

What are your goals with the car. HP? Torque? Drivability? Need more input from you.
Do you have basic bolt ons?

hey same question i have (bolt on's) moroso cia,pulley,removed cats and exhaust pcm for less tune,3.42 gears and long tubes comming soon ...... i want an lt4 hot cam 2 do u think it will fit well with my setup im looking for right now i like street racing better than track like from 25-30mph to like 135mph do u think i should get the hot cam kit with the 1.6 rr ?

if you're going to use it as a street/strip daily driver you cant beat it if you get it for under 500.

My goals for the car is a nice car for every day driving but can still line up wiht someone at a red light and win....i dont really have any bolt ons except the ram air intake, edlebrock shorties, and loudmouth exhaust....i was just wondering if i need to get new gears or anything or will the lt4 kit work fine with a mostly stock car

I think you would benifit from gears if you did hot cam. Do you have an auto?

Also here is a thread about the differences between the hotcam CC305 CC503
I have the 503 which is the choice i made for street cam. It is the bigger of the 3 that will pass emissions.
