Is that just water on the ground that your burning out on, or is it some bleach for white smoke?

It had kooks stepped headers with 3 1/2 collectors open at the time. I just installed a kooks y pipe and magnaflow catback for the street. It actually didn't tame it a whole lot and the cam is rumbling just as hard.
I just got the car back a few mins ago with a new 5 point bar installed. I drove it to the corner and stabbed it twice on the way back. Lets just say that I nearly soiled myself. The new MT 28s grabbed from a 5mph roll and pulled the front end. I actually felt the steering come free both times and had witnesses that said it left the ground. Looking forward to some pretty nasty 60fts

Just some water. The tires were from last season and were not tall enough to get me past the 1000ft mark last year. Couldn't have thought of a better way to get rid of them

Cool Quickshot. I just got my new Trickflow heads and they are going to Lloyd to get ported. I should have my car going in a month. I am shooting for 10.80's on my new drag radials N/A and 9's on the gas. What kind of bar did you put in your car? Chromemoly? Mildsteel? Custom built or bolt in? I am looking thru the options and I may buy the S&W weld in kit. I am not going wild though it will be a 6 point with swingout doorbars and I am not planning on making it legal to run 9's this year b/c like you I still ride mine on the street quite a bit. Are you planning on making it to the Thunder Shootout this year with your car? I will be there for sure with or w/o the T/A. Later Clint

Best of luck to you Clint. I installed a chromoly wolfe 5 point. It really stiffened the car up. I'm going to try to make the race, but should have some preliminary #s this weekend Hope your car will be ready, it should be a great race.

It is an ATI non lockup unit that seems to hit around 3600 or so. Pretty wicked out of the hole.

They are stock heads with stock size valves. The port doesn't look like a sewer pipe and does not penetrate the threads for the rocker studs. They were his first stock set.

Number 1, that is a damn, sexy video. Secondly, ported stock heads! Eric B. did those heads right? I just bought a used Joe O. cam and am wondering what type of head should I spend my money on. The cam is in the mid 220's/230's range and I take it your's is a little bit larger. If you find the stock sized heads to be sufficient on your setup, maybe I'll save myself the grief of trying to wait and save money for some aftermarket heads

Congratulations. Your gonna be having some fun!

Thank you. Yes, eric did the heads. That was the first cam that I tried and I loved it. I cut 1.51 60fts and ran 11s in 100 degree weather. It was also great to drive around town with TQ right at a moments notice. Good luck.

You wouldn't believe me if I told you It's still a hyd roller though It makes some violent TQ, and I mean VIOLENT , at the touch of the throttle and revs very quickly. As for the HP up top, I can't tell yet. I havn't been able to get the tires to hold long enough. We are installing the gen 7 wideband tomorrow and Joe is going to tune it at the track
