. I wasn't aware of the Specs of the LE3 cam but I didn't figure I was too far off with my guessing. Then again I new Joe would design a new grind for to match your setup of Course. How many miles on this stock shortblock if you don't mind me asking. Quickshotkimber where does your car make max power at. I know you shift at 6500 because of the stock block.Joe this may be a rather dumb question since you work at crane cams(What I Heard) but what cam profiles do you like and do you use other brands like say COMPCAMS, lunati, etc.

I dont work at crane but i do work along with them in thier engine builders program...as far as cam companies go all represent well, comp, crane, cam technique, cam motion,erson etc.... thier are many, and among all those mentioned have top performing cars backing them..so I'd say its personal choice as far as brand....Lobe design varies among them and its easy to get hung up on what is the best lobe design to use, let alone duration and lobe separation, or even where to install it in the motor as far as advance/ retard... Trust me it isnt really magic, most that design custom cams really have just alot of r&d ,its not as if they have a phd in cam design as some like to make themselves out to be... they have a alot of trial and error and just knows what does and doesn't work...
