Default Lt1 Pulley Choice?

I just have some minor bolt on mods

What type of pulleys would be best for me Creating the most power but still being able to work with a small stereo amp for a sub?

Thanks

An underdrive crank pulley will affect your charging system unless compensation is made to eaither the alternater pulley or increase idle rpm.
As for the types, I used the march with an mba alternater overdrive pulley and the charging is like stock. Another option is ASP.

If your running a system, leave it stock (as far as the crank), get a better alternator as far as output, and then look for other mods. UD pullies help with parasitic loss from the accessories, but since LT1's do not drive their waterpump via the serp belt, but rather the cam, not much is saved, at the peak and under the curve is a bit better, but since you have a high demand electrical system, dont mess with it.

I recently put mine back to stock, and replaced the alternator, i have plenty of juice and no dead batteries.

Yeah I'm going back to stock sized crank pulley myself, that's on an ATI damper. Haven't realy fealt any increase in power with the march pulley, my charging system was messed up and that's only with 25% underdrive. I had to have an overdrive alternater pulley to get the voltage out of the red. Bottom line it's not worth it.

I thought about getting these. Do you guys think I would get about 5-10 HP off this? I almost have a full bolt on LT1. Which % and which ones do you guys recommend. Could I get an overdrive pulley for the alternator, an underdrive crank?

5-10, some say 7-12. I'd say it's definatly not going to be more than 5-10, but I'm a skeptic on bolt-ons.
Yes, get an overdrive for the alt. and under for the crank.
As for which ones, make sure you get something that is aluminum. Part of the gain comes from the pulley itself being lighter, so going with another heavy pulley won't help as much. Just check into the brands that are listed above in this thread.
Which % - I :dunno:

I have a 34% underdrive on my crank only, run 2 10s in my system and the only time it matters is at a stop light it will hit 10.5 to 11 volts and stay there, when moving it goes up to 13-14 volts. I dont think it really matters, and i dont think i really noticed any big gains with them either... but thats just my opinion.
