Default lt1 mileage?

I'm seriously considering to buy this car within a few months.
What are the MPG on these cars? LT1
Information on both Automatic and Manual would be great.

How long do these engine last?
I'm a bit frugal on spending money and might buy a 80k+ mileage camaro.

mpg are like 15-17 around town and low/mid to high 20's for highway. The autos are 4 speed and the manuals are 6 soeed just whatever you prefer is best for you. Both trannys are great tho. LT1's generally last for a long time, 120k on an LT1 is not bad as long as it has been maintained. These engines are workhorses and if treated right, they will last a very long time. I highly recommend you buy one, you will NOT regret it.

Stock LT1 F-bodies typically run LOW 14's-HIGH 13's stock. I'm not sure what the 350Z's run.

It's sounds like you either have a buddy with a 350Z that you want to beat, or your looking at getting one of them. Do tell.

All you gotta do is do a couple of mods and you will be running low 13's so that 350z would be beat.

I had 120k on my engine when I did my cam change. I built a seprate motor so my car wouldn't be down long, to my surprise the inside of my old engine looked great, there was alomost no wear on the cylinders and everything looked clean. I BEAT THE CRAP out of my car and it has never let me down. The opti went out a 117k and Because I beat my car up the trany was done around 85k or so. Other then that its been a great car. taken care of there good, but I have seen alot of lt-1 that are ragged out bad. just be carefull and you won't be disapointed.

I bought my car with 120k+ on it. Still has plenty of power.

Get one that's well maintained and you'll be fine.
