Default why isn't there an LSx-style head available for LT1s?

ok I lied but please read.

Does anyone know enough about the LSx and Lt1 to answer the following question?........... which is.. why isnt' there a LSx style head avail for LT1's... I know you can't bolt an LS1 head on an LT1 but damn the design is far superior why can't some one engineer a head that uses the LT1 cooling system with LS1 design you follow? Basically you would need a new intake as well. I can't see why a kit like this doesn't exsist. I'm thinking about pitchign the idea to GM so they could make performance heads and intake for the the lt1 and earlier models... but maybe someone knows why they dont' exist and can explain to me why it's not practical or impossible.

you can have some sbc heads converted to reverse flow. So you could get some 18* SBC heads, have them converted, fly cut pistons, ect....

i didn't think it would come across right....................the shape of LSx based heads coolant inlets is completely different from say an Lt1. Also the angle of the blocks is different. it would have to be a new head that mates to the LT1 but is all LS1 uptop.. then the heads would have to be made to mate to the current LSx intake or a new one would have to be made... I know it seems like so much work but if it was avail.. anyone with an LT1 or older chevy motor would be jumping on them. maybe i'm the only one

Why reinvent the wheel? As noted you can have 18degree Gen1 heads drilled(coolant) to work with the LT1. The angle is a large part of how the LSX heads outflow the older designs, then you use a single plane Gen1 intake like a Victor Jr. or something. Given that the market for what you are suggesting would mostly be limited to those who are awestruck by the LSX link without any understanding of how it all works.
I know the LSX cooling is better but the real gains are in the flow and the LT1 block isn't setup to cool like the LSX ones so the already available 18 degree stuff is the answer to this question.

The reason why no one is going to injuneer a ls1 head for the lt1 block is because you dont have to. You can just have aftermarker gen 1 heads converted over to work on a lt1. And they would blow any lsx head out of the water. Also, you would have such a tiny market of folks who would go that route. So they're looking to invest money in somthing they will get their profits out of.

Yea the ls1 head awesome performance break through for the chevy small block. But it doesn't mean you have to have ls1 head to make this amazing flow. Take a look at Darts website as well as Brodix and others. They have many chevy heads out there that blow the ls1 heads out of the water.
