Default more 95 caprice problems

I have a 95 caprice police pkg car that I was asking some questions about. It has a 4.3 lt v8 in it and it was having some fuel problems. The pump was out when I got it and I bought it at an auction for 550.00. did'nt know anthing about the car.
So I put a fuel pump on it and it stll would not start. So I checked the injectors, they ohmed 12.2-12.6. I used a noid light and they all were pulsating the same. I had 45lbs at the rail. and I even put new plugs in it.
It still would not start.
BUT it would run if I took a spray bottle and sprayed gas directly into the TB.

I just got time to pull it in today and spend a little time on it.
What it was, was bad gas in it and I put 4 gallons in it and shook the **** out of the car. Then sprayed gas in it again. Then started it and held it at half throttle. It ran some half *** good gas up there and eventually smoothed out a bit.
It still smells pretty bad but it will start NOW!

But I have a few Questions!!!

1. the temp gauge don't work, were is the sending unit at on this motor??

2. the fans are not kicking on. were is the switch at??

3. it got a little warm after I drove it and let it run awhile. Do you think the thermostat could be stuck?
The lower hose had no presure on it but it was hot. It was gurgling a little.

Thanks for the help and sorry it was so long!!!

I do believe the sending unit for the temp gauge is on the passenger side head towards the back.

I would check the relays in the aux power box in the upper corner of the passenger side of the car under the hood. Check any wiring to the fans.

T-stat could be stuck. It's an easy swap and if it has a lotta miles on it, changing it out wouldn't be a bad idea.

I found a single wire on the pas side between the last two cyls. That is not hooked up. Looks like it got pulled out. Theres a butt connector on the end of it..

I here you about the T-stat but I already have about 800 in it now and I'm tring to make as much as I can on the car.LOL.

But if thats what it takes, then so be it...

Are the fan working when the AC is turned on? BTW there are 2 temp sensors, one for the gauge which is on the passenger side head as mentioned, the other is on the water pump and this is for the PCM which commands the fans.

One fan comes on when the A/C is turned on but not the other.
I seen something on the water pump that looks like a temp sensor.

I found the temp sending wire coming off the head but I can not find the wire anywere that it goes to. I looked all over the right side for the other half.

Were does it come from? Is it in a harness or what???
