I destroyd my CAT!
Catylitic Converter K guys so im driving home from work last night and my car feels really weird......i WOT it and it sounds like a huge turbine in the cutout, then i went to get gas and it went back to sounding really freaking muscley. So i keep taping the throttle on the way home, and i get into my garage and leave her runiing, lookin for an SES or something. I turn her off get a long peice of metal and stick it through the cutout into the "STOCk" cat, yes thats right stock from 1993, tehhehe, it feels as if nothin is in the cat. SO im like well i probly just dont know what im feeling for, so i walk around the back of my car to go inside and on my driveway there is a 3 in peice of the cat filter on the ground! ahhahahahahha 
I always smelt **** at WOT and now that my cats gon i know i have much better flow since the cat was jammin it up. SCORE!!!!!!!!!!

Yea man my bad, i just dont want to **** ne one off cuz i dont wanta vacation from this site, i get way to much info here to not be able to come, and i do like my new Free mod, its got a nice intimadating sound to it.

Honeycomb? It does look like that, but realy tiny in size. I stuck a Flexable peice of metal in my cat and i felt noting? Can you tell me what this honeycomb is? Im thinking its just the filter stuff in the cat. If im wrong let me know.

hes right about the cat, its not a filter, its a honey comb, what it is is a comb made out of ceramic, the engine ehaust heats up the ceramic causing the material on the ceramic to get hotter and to burn the rest of the fuel out the ehaust thus lowering emissions....also, if you would have emptyd out the cat in your garage like i did you would have also found that there is a good amount of pure platinum inside the cats, it is a free mod and it does increase horsepower and torque, but it can through off the 02 sensor if you have downstrem sensor, i learned this from the cat om my first car, a 1997 chevy cavileir( peice of **** at that). oh yeah, dont breathe in any of the dust it will hurt you.
