Removed side moldings and Blackbird stripes
i took the molding off years ago and never looked back. i agree with who ever said it a few post earlier; i don't know why more people don't do it as well. i went one step further though. you can't see it in my sig picture but i relocated the "Trans Am" emblems to the front of the ground effect about 6 inches behind the front wheel well. removing the molding gives the car a much, much smoother and cleaner look and i think relocating the "Trans Am" emblems to that location allows you to keep that clean look.
the stripes could stay or go but if you are looking for a clean look i would go with just the "Ram Air" letters in a charcoal or a chrome decal. that would be a cleaner look for the hood.

I tried the stripes on my car after I got my ram air hood but went with a solid stripe with the "Ram Air" cutouts (which I later removed, they just didn't do it for me). The stripes you've got with the pinstripes look awesome... that's actually making me think about throwing some back on mine
.
IMO, T/A's look alot better with no moldings... did mine about a year ago after they started to yellow and couldn't be happier!
By the way... those rims are HOT!

Of course, I'm very partial to the look because I have the exact same car !
