Coated, it keeps the heat down in the engine bay, and they dont rust as fast as non-coated. Non-coated look like ****, and they rust much faster. You get what you pay for.

I've had my coated headers on for 3000 miles and they look brand new.
Get coated and if you can't afford coated save up alittle longer to get them.

I bought uncoated Hedman Headders from JEGS for $229 and sandblasted them. Then I used the VHT coating and painted them. I baked the coating on using the engine heat as the oven. The headers come with collectors and everthing needed to install them. They are not as good as coated headers but, for the price, can't beat it!

If you got the money go with the coated, you will be much happier in the long run. I've known a lot of people who went uncoated and ended up being unhappy with the look and rusting, but haven't heard many complaints from those who broke down and bought coated headers instead.
