Yep, had a long time friend get married and the weather was supposed to be better so we let him tow it down.

He is the car driver and I am the car owner. Not sure who would actually get the 'title', I guess we could just say Herron Performance's Shop Car.

SRP great runs, saw everyone of them. Congrats on the new best seeing that nobody is willing to recongnize a good run. Sounds as if you might be contending for the title.

i need to do some suspension work, ill my stuff is still stock, with 120k on it, but goin this friday to she if its got a 12.50 or so

Nice times with bolt ons. Sounds like the car is set up nice for H&C now. Any plans in the near future. The bolt on thing is fine, but the motor mods are addictive

Shon, Major congrats on the new #. I think you, me and stealth WS6 are in the run for the record. I've been waiting all summer for the temps to cool down and it looks like were almost at the weather the car likes here in Texas.


I previously ran a 12.61 @ 109 (1.86 60ft) launching at 5500 rpms full bolt-ons & full weight weight WS6 T/A 6spd with bigs & littles. I have since added the PCM tune, cut-out and BMR K-member, BMR upper & lowers, Wilwoods front and rear, so I think I have shaved a little bit of weight off the car. I'm going for that record that ROADTRIP 120 set at 12.22 I believe. I'm definitely in the hunt with the latest mods on full weight street car ! I picked up 19/26 on my PCM tune from ED wright, so I'm hoping for some 110/111 mph out my stuff and of course at least the 12.20's range to grab the record

I just wanted to give ya props ! Your stuff is running strong

Did not realize so many bolt on bastards were out there, glad to see I got some competition, that makes it more fun!!

We did race at Carolina and will be going back Nov 5th for SVT day!

Good luck to all that are shooting for the low 12s and high 11s!!

H&C will be after the record unless i get pissed or break something.

I wish it was a 12.2 , that would have set the bar higher, it was only a 12.29 as posted in sig. The car was down on power due to fuel pressure regulator problems 13hp and 22 tq on the dyno. I would have liked to get closed to the 11 second goal that all bolt-on cars are going for.

Good luck to all, i have moved on to a cam only record try, so once you get done with BOB, you might go the next step and toss a cam in.

ah ah ahh. Full weight means no weight reduction to me, as in k-member, tubular a-arms, seat removal, bumper support removals. Hell i'm gonna be adding weight in the next week or two by putting in a 9" being in Ohio i only have 3 weekends left before the tracks close, if this gets heated, i will travel to kentucky, and farther south if need be. BTW stealth ain't in contention anymore, he's already got my shops custom grind cam and ported heads....
I live for bench racing, lol.

Yea, I've got some weight off the car, but unfortunately I have put some other items on that I'm sure will keep the car at stock weight. I also have all off the factory items on the car working like A/C, power windows, full interior (leather) and a 12 bolt MOSER. So, I still consider my car basically weighing in at the 3515 lb just like stock. I bet if I weigh the car right now I'm within 10 lbs of that number. I will also have to run my 18" 3 piece rim up front and won't be able to get any weight savings from using a 15 x 3 1/2" because the Wilwoods are too damn big !

Just take the weight out of it, get the suspension working and the gearing right and hope for a sticky track!
