im shooting for something in the low 12's next spring.... gears, rockers, drag radials, dyno tune, TB if needed, new opti & some suspension mods w/ weight reduction... right now i run 13.082 @ 108 with the little bolt on's i have now and tomorrow im adding true duals with 2 e-cutouts(i'll post pics tomorrow when finished) & a Electric water pump in hopes to break the 12 sec mark on the 22nd

I'm slow right now but I hope to be in the 12's as soon as I get to the track with some good weather with stock manifolds and converter.

I'm just a poor college kid right now and can't afford all the bolt-ons yet.

BTW the 12.47 at 110.7 was one of only a few passes..the best MPH that day was 111.3mph. The Suspension is also currently 100% stock and the 60 ft mark was a best of only 1.85 because we were afraid of breaking the still stock 10bolt on 4.10s. We should see 12.0-12.1s at least with a good 6000 rpm launch.

not saying SRP or Shon can't do it, anyone is capable of anything....I'm just saying as of right now, I think roadtrip holds the bolt-on N/A record w/ 12.295 @112mph.......damnit, I can't even do that on the spray

No, because this isn't the special olympics where everyone gets a class for themselves and everyone goes home a winner

Fastest stock longblock, period.

My beer can will get there if I can get some decent weather. Steve had something crazy like -1700DA to work with. The lame tranny I'm currently running doesn't help either.

LOL!! Some people don't understand how hard it is to beat a record. Many have been there and done that so you have to get EVERYTHING right. Not only that you may find youself spending thousands just for one more tenth of a second. Then you may need to wait months or even years for the weather to be just right. It's a horrible quest that I wouldn't recommend to anyone. It's like this--> I've gone so far now that I can't stop but I can't wait until I can stop banging my head against the wall and do a real power adder.

Very well put,
I worked for the record for a year and a half. That blows to be so close yet so far from the record. Add some more hp to that thing, or just cut the floor pan out.lol That is some impressive race weight. Must be nice to have a coke can for a race car, some of us have tanks while others have boats. Im gona have to pull some weight for the cam only try.

Good luck with your quest it will come with time and desire.

We just need the 4.33s in it.
In the works, more weight removal and more power.
I sure hope the cool air rolls in sometime soon, gonna need it!

If not, I might have to make a few road trips as if the 3hour trip to Jackson is not a road trip in of its self.
