flexplate, BMR tranny crossmember, longer driveshaft, external tranny cooler, th-400 stall converter, new shifter (B&M etc..), speedometer conversion parts (search for part #'s). Also disabling certain transmission codes in the tune. I think thats about it.

EASY!! on the TH350/400 swap. I have done this swap in my car, got 2 buddies that have done this swap. What specific questions do you have.

The 4l80e swap is a bit more complex and takes some reworking of the 'sheet metal' plus is WAY heavy!

Flexplate, stock or TCI will do, make sure you get the one with the right number of teeth.
Tranny -obviously
Crossmember, you got some options, either stock or buy BMRs unit.
What kind of TA do you run, tranny mounted or off trans mounted?
Speedo, if it is electronic (stock) then you can run some GM parts to make the speedo work OR if it is an original OBDII car then you can run it off the ABS signal, $5 parts from Radio shack.
Dipstick tube, from madman ($$) but the only one that I know of that fits in the stock location.

TC, stall depends on all kinds of factors. as you know.
Shifter, that depends on your likes and if you retain the stock console.

Does that help ya?

you can use a 6 speed crossmember with a spacer. Thats what I did, Stock flexplate, hurst 700r4 to th400 conversion for the torque arm.(had to fab that a bit). I don't have the speedo working but I only go in a straight line so i don't really care to have one.....

ive been looking for sorta the same thing for 2 months...i converted to a th350, and when i bought it they gave me a stock stall converter, and its really holding the car back. I havent found anyone that sells a 350/400 converter to use with the stock converter anywhere online.

You have to make sure that the coverter is setup for the smaller 153 tooth bolt pattern. The stock flexplate will work also, but its cheep to just get the b&m that is SFA approved. I have a th350 in my Z with have a midwest converter. They make some good conveters for a pretty good price.

I live in Rockford. If you have any questions about the swap you we can talk on AIM, my screen name is KylefoggedZ
