Default New to the f-body and got questions

Okay i am looking into buying a 94 LT1 Trans Am. I know the owner and he takes care of it from what i can tell. The owner is my friends dad. The car has a built up auto transmission. I was told to keep the transmission cause i am going turbo and it is built for it. My main question is what is the normal problems that these cars have. I am going to get the car in the next 3 years. I am a college student that is trying to save up the money. I hope to have the car a lot sooner. I just need to know what i am going to be having to fix on it when i get it. They keep it will kept up. The suspension is also while built up. Cant say what exactly is done to it but i can say it is done. Any help would be appreciated. If these is in the wrong place i am sorry just say were it needs to be posted.

Opti spark, intake manifold oil leaks, timing chain oil leaks. The Opti is the distributor. People tend to over exaggerate the Opti spark. It's really not that bad, just don't get it wet.

If the car still has the stock opti then you will probably have to replace that at some point. They are usually at least 4-5 hundred for the 93-94 spline type.

the opti is basically the distibutor, they are monted in the front of the engine, under the waterpump. (Stupid place)
