Default I don't know what I did.

Basically, I am still having the same problem with the hesitation under load. Well that was the problem I would rather have now. After doing EGR Valve, Solenoid, surrounding vacuum lines, PCV Valve and Grommet, Fuel Filter, Oil Filter and Oil, Plugs, Wires, O2 Sensors and the TPS I still have the same problem although improved. The car used to hesitate under any load going up hills in too high a gear, 6th gear on the highway it was just like a constant skipping, plus the car would ping if you were at a higher RPM and tried to give it gas the skipping was less severe but the ping was significant you had to back off.

so everyone started to throw the fuel card at me

i went out and bought a fuel pressure tester hooked it up to the schrader valve on the back of the intake turned the car on but not running we had 42 lbs id turn it off let it sit it didnt go back down beautiful right. yea so far. so i did that a copule of times to verify consistency. next step start up the car. beautiful, starts up fuel pressure dropped maybe 2 - 3 psi were at 39 - 40 psi now i was like wow fuel pump aint shot. so i hit the throttle like a blip pressure jumped up like 5 - 6 psi then went down below 38 psi if i held it after doing that a couple of times the pressure gauge got very vibrational it would center on 38 but fluctuate rapidly between 42 and 35. i gave it more gas to steady it out it would stop its vibrating go up way down then steady and vibrate again all the sudden the car had a huge back fire and died. wtf? tried starting the car it cranked seemed like it wanted to go but as soon as i let off the starter it died. tried to let it wait. no dice. if you stayed on the starter for more than a usual start it gave me a huge backfire i had my neighbors coming outside and the police came to my house because they said they got a call about someone firing a gun LOL so i pushed the car away to prevent any more disturbances now its just sitting there it was running all day today now its dead.

HELP!!!!!!

all that and no optispark?

I don't know how, but it sounds like you flooded your engine messing around with the Fuel possibly.

Just go wait a bit and start it up.

how are the plugs you should pull them back out and see what color they are. If its black then its rich (look into spark) If white (look for fuel problems) Or if it looks relitivly normal with little to no white then is something else. Their was no trouble codes being set off?

I'm thinking it's opti if it won't start back. Otherwise, turn the key on (don't start) and see if you can hear the fuel pump prime up. The erratic behavior you described on fuel pressure is probably just the stock regulator.

Had this problem. Sounds like the oil is coming off the water pump drive directly above it. Oil got on my lens and ruined the low resolution signal on my opti. You'll have to replace that seal around the waterpump drive and the opti looks like. Careful on that seal, the lips will flip out the wrong way and leak again.
