A filet mignon costs more than a sirloin too. I guess everybody has different tastes.

I just came back from the track and ran a best of 12.42@109 on a 355 and LE2 heads on a CC503. This is in a 4400lb pig N/A. Go Lloyd. Think it could be 11's in a 3600 lb Camaro?

Any reputable company can make you quality ported heads. Start with any magazinethat does reports on dynos, what heads they use etc.
LPE, AI, CNC, MTI etc etc. Lloyd hasnt become as popular as them, YET, and his prices and customer service have been great with all the threads mentioning him here. And that being said, customer service is very important. When companies get a little big in the britches, sometimes theyforget where they came form. Not all comapnies.\
But to run high 11
s, the combo has been done over and over again. Gears, traction are the big things to concentrate on. Hp is easy. Real easy nowadays.

C4 corvettes are lighter than 4th gen f-bodies, no? but id imagine harder to launch with the IRS. an LE2 package should get you there.

Yes mine weighs 3333 without me, and the best 60 time with slicks is 1.67 with VHT also. I have a road race suspension. I already run 11's and was doing it with Hot Cam, LT's, 3.75 and 2800 stall and CNC heads from CNC in Florida. You dont need allot to get there.
Also, what gear ratio are you running. You should optimize it for your redline to hit as you come across the line, if a low ET in the 1/4 is your ultimate goal. My 3.75 are holding me back, as I still have 1000 rpm to go.

some prefer Goldschlager and some prefer hot sake. Most who prefer one have never tried the other. I have tried both and BOTH WORK VERY WELL.

The ONLY way to compare heads will be on the SAME car with the only change being the heads.

I would say that anyone with AI, CNC, TEA or LE heads will make some good power if matched with the right cam, the right complimenting mods AND good tuning.

Any of these heads will be fast in a car with the above things AND a car that gets a good 60 ft. Obviously gear, stall and weight play a part here but you still can't compare heads from car to car. For every customer with an 11 second car with the above heads, there is another customer with a mis matched cam, mail order tune and crummy 60 ft that is running 13's. The heads will not be the deciding factor in this, the rest of the combination is.

You can say that again, I've been trying to get ahold of a certain company for weeks now, sending E-Mails, Phone calls, PM's on certain sites and i havent gotten one response! How They expect there companys to grow by treating future customers this way is beyond Me.

Saw a local buddy run a 11.70 at 121 with a 1.89 60ft with the le2 heads and le3 cam today on a 355/6 speed setup on a shakedown pass. Only suspension mods are sfc's, pcmforless base tune, 206k mile stock 10 bolt, and drag radials. Sucks that the track will be closing soon so he won't get any good passes until next year.

1.62/11.41/119. Major miss, all new suspension and tire. Shotty weather, too.
