I have the trickflow elbow it is worth it for both looks and I find it easier to work with than the stock elbow, but I had a hard time getting the jet airfoil to work with the trick flow intake.

I have a trickflow elbow. And i think it slows me down, i went to the derag strip recently and it was so hot i couldnt hold my hand on it, i bet it pulls a few degres of timming. Personally i dont like the way it looks either, i think the stock one with tire shine looks better. The only reason i bought it was becuase my stock one was ripped, but i am think of cutting my stock one back and putting it on. I read on cmz28 that since air is always flowing through it, it wont heat soak, not true, the only rerason i will keep it is i am planning on spraying soon and it will help pull timming out lol.

yea on z28.com they argued w/ me that it didn't hurt even though it got so hot. Its just hard to believe that the air doesn't get hotter vs. the rubber 1LE intake.
