I need specs ok, I did a search for them, but coudn't find the full specs for the hot cam springs, I need to know things like coil bind height, and anything else there is for them.
Single spring with 1.32" O.D. and 1.22" solid height. The pressure at installed height IS 101# @ 1.78" with 332# the average rate of pounds per inch. Use with retainer P/N 10168424.
with that I would assume that the spring height is 1.22"
seat pressure is 101# @ 1.78"
open pressure ? @ ?
coil bind ?
average spring rate is 332#
and maximum net lift, ?
and why if this spring is good on the hot cam exhaust, I belive it is 218 @ .050 with max lift of .525.
why would it not be good on a similar cam, with the same or less lift, and the same or less duration?

I your doing a cam please do it right the first time put in a cc306 or a gm 847
All I will say is mine was done right the first time, which includes a little boost (15 psi on pump gas) from a t70 for the street.
the springs are some that I have laying around that had less than 3000 miles on them and a friend is wanting to do a small cam for the spray, although I have tried to convince him other wise. but for now he wants to go cheap, since I already have the springs and all to go with to give him and he is picking up a cam cheap.
