Helpppppp My Car Has Been Smoking From The Exhaust,it Smells Like Oil Just Got Timing Cover Gasket Replaced Because It Was Leaking But The Oil Dipstick Has A Hole In It And It's Leaking Oil.when I Drove My Car Home,which Is About 8 Miles From The Mechanic There Was Alot Of Grey Smoke Coming Out From The Sides Of The Car And The Back Of The Car But When I Was Taking Off It Looked Like It Was From The Exhaust.told Mechanic About It When I Got Home And He Said It Could Be A Valve Seal.
Does Anybody Have An Idea What Could Cause This?? Could It Be That It's The Oil Leaking Onto The Exhaust And It's Burning It And Shooting It Back When Im Driving?

For Sure From The Leaks Because My Y-pipe Is Covered In Oil But Yesterday I Told My Brother 2 Check Where The Smoke Was Coming From As I Drove By And He Told Me It Was From The Exhaust.so It's Smoking From The Sides And Hood Because Of Oil Leaks And Also From Exhaust Tips. Before The Leaks It Would Still Smoke Sometimes And Sometimes Not.i Remember One Time When I Was Driving And The Low Coolant Light Came On And I Check The Coolant And There Was Almost Nothing Left And I Had Filled The Coolant About Three Weeks Before That. Yesterday When I Saw The Smoke It Looked Grey Because It Was In The Night But Im Thinking It Could Be Coolant Coming Out The Tailpipie.i Already Had It Pressure Checked And No Pressure Loss Or Leaks . I Heard From Another Mechanic It Could Be A Warped Head.i Also Had A Blown Head Gasket About A Year Ago ,got Heads Resurfaced And Pressure Checked.
So the coolant consumption was before or after the head gasket change? Have you compression tested the motor? Depending on how the compression test goes, it could tell whether you have bad valve seals, blown rings, or blow head gasket.
