Default Having trouble (opti maybe?¿?)

Well the past couple days car has been acting odd. The service engine light has come on and off.. Today I was sitting at a stop sign and the car just died... started right back up.

Started the car a min ago and it cut off. started right back up. Then i was going and went WOT let off , light came on and car started missing 2 or 3 time around 2Krpms.

When it dies it jsut cuts off. no sputter or spits... just dies like i turn the key.

145k miles... OPTI TIME?

That is just a cap and rotor, I have needed the whole opti and the harness on mine every time it went. I finally cured it going out by replacing the vacuum harness with the opti.

Jason Cromer is the cheapest I've found. He's at a GM dealership and FL, so the warranty will be in effect. Just bought my (vented) for $250. Good luck. Here's the phone No. 877 726-8295

good luck if anyone is looking for that MSD kit. it was suppose to be released in April. MSD pushes it back by a month ever month. i went with a rebuild cardone distributor and a summit cap and rotor kit. i will worn you though if you go this route. it took me a day to find all the tools to get the dam distributor apart. the cap is held on by 4 E3 screws and the cap is held on by 2 T8 screw. this is what my OPTI-Crap looked like.

If you purchase the MSD Cap & Rotor they will provide you the tools to change the parts out.

I ordered my MSD cap & rotor from Jegs. Me and my buddy went all around town looking for the damn tool to take the opti apart. Lowes, Homedepot and some other hardware stores. No one had the dang tool. Then we looked in the kit and the dang tool was in there to take it apart. It's rigged though. They took an acual torx screw and welded it to another piece and give you a wrench to turn it with. Pretty good idea. But it was all in the kit. and very easy to change out.
