How much power 383 I am currently building a 383 for my car
The qestion is How much power will it make through stock ported Heads and Intake I work at a Machine Shop and we build Late model Stock motors and Hooters Procup engines So they will be ported to the max we have a Flow bench so we will cut and flow cut and flow till we get some Ok numbers. It will have a cam simpliar to the GM847.
Scat 4340 3.75 crank
5.7 Eagle H-Beams
SRP Pistions 11.1 CR
4 Bolt program Caps
200 Direct Port Kit
Car is also full bolt on Long Tubes True duals
It will be makein it through Th-350 and Moser 12 Bolt

not sure about the specs on a GM cam but u should make a lot of power.... Make sure you port the bowl area to maxmize cfm in the head.... If it was my setup i would go with a cam in the 240's on a 113 or 114 lobe seperation. It should be good for 450 hp and 450 torque all depends on your heads and cam.
