Default lt1 heads help

looking for a set of heads for my 93 camaro would like 2.02 intake and 1.60 exhaust any one looking to get rid off let me know mark

i saw some on Ebay for sale a set for 300 bucks dont know what size they were they just said they were lt1 heads check it out they are reconditioned heads dont know anything about them but saw em yesterday

Did you want big valves or did you want good flowing heads? They are not one in the same and many knowledgable LT1 head giys will not point you to valves that large. Hell unless going all out most even like the stock valves.
Do some research and rethink your request.

Default Lt1 Heads

I Have A 93 Lt1 Heads Have Been Ported Polished And Gasket Matched As Well As Intake New Spring Up .600 Lift Installed All Valves Were Set For Height And A 3 Angle Valve Job Block Has Been Go Through Forged Pistons And Rods All Weight Matched Crank Balanced Arp Bolts Through Out Iam Running A 112 Lobe With A 526 Lift Intake And A 528 On Exhaust This Is Going To Be Supedcharged With Twin Intercoolers Also A Nitrous Wet Kit For Top End 75 Shot Going To Pull Heads To Change Gaskets To Cometic Gaskets And Remove Arp Head Bolts And Install Studs Reason I Was Looking For Larger Valves Any One Have Any Thoughts Stock Size Valves In Heads Now Thanks Mark

another vote for ebay, there always seems to be one or two good deals for some heads on there, you just gotta find them.

Depends on your port work, if the heads were ported for stock size valves you need to ask the head porter if going to a bigger valve will help the flow. Most of the time you will lose some of your low lift flow going to a bigger valve.
I would think about upgrading the quality of the valves and spring. The super charger will cause the exhaust valves to run at a higher temperature. The stock runs will run but not as long or as well as a good set of after-market valves. Springs as well the super-charger will put pressure on the valves at closing pint and force them open if your spring pressures are to low. Just food for thought.
