anyone got any ideas??? Went to pull my exhaust manifold on the drivers side off because i heard a leak(figured it was a gasket). The gasket was destroyed, however I discovered that the last person that owned it cracked off the bolt in the back (nearest to the firewall) that's causing the leak because the exhaust manifold isn't tight..... anyone got any ideas??? Do I have to pull the head completely off or do u think it is possible to get this broken bolt out without having to take off my intake, head, etc..... obviously I would like to do it without.... because that would be a total pain in the ***...... thank you for your input ahead of time......
It all depends on if you can get a drill back there to extract the bolt. I can't remember w/o looking at it if there's enough room to get a 90* drill adapter down there. Probably not, which means the head will have to come off.
