Not exactly sure what's you're wanting. All you need to do is create a new hole for the sensor then extend the wiring. I've not seen a "relocator" kit for this before.

Because the PCM will eventually "figure out" that the air you're drawing in is not as cold as that IAT says it is. Maybe worth doing it for a couple passes, but the PCM is eventually going to know what's going on and it's going to adjust for it to negate any gains you might have had.

he's talking about relocating it away from the hot engine... Not telling the computer that it's 0 degrees outside when it's really not.. i personally believe that it's worth the 40 bucks spent. My IAT would read 110 degrees when the outside temp would be 70-80 degrees I see no harm in telling the computer what the actual temp of the air that is comming into my engine rather then it seeing false under hood temps.

good point I guess that one went over my head. I myself am thinking of relocating mine seeing how mine is also 40-50 degrees over ambient temps. Now to just find a place to put it.

during normal driving conditions.... How long would you have to be at WOT before the sensor reads the actual temp of the outside air???

can't say that mine changes that way. did some data logging the other night and it took over 10 secs @ WOT for the sensor temp to change 5 degrees.

yeah. From loggin it takes a couple mins on the highway for the IAT on my car to get within 10 degrees of the ambient temp going 60mph.
