Don't worry, it's happened to people before. Did you try to go ahead and finish? Looks to me like it could get enough force on it to get it out. Try using a claw type puller if that doesn't work.

The problem with using a claw puller is the same... it only has two spots to hold on to.

I thought it looked like it might have enough edge to grab but you might be right. Could one try a 2 claw puller? We have one but it might not be useable in this case.

try a 3 jaw puller to put on the edges of the hub itself or, just try to hammer it off with a chisel etc and just buy a new hub. they are pretty cheap. You are very close to getting it off.

try some heat only on the hub, it might come off with a little prying on each side slowly... be carefull with the flame not to catch anything on fire.

Looks like you were pulling and pushing on the hub at the same time. Instead of pulling on the hub and pushing on the crank.

Just weld the ear back on and continue the way you were before. It looks like you've got it far enough off the crank snout that a good percentage of the friction to move it has been relieved, so as long as you line up the puller right this time you should be able to get it the rest of the way off without breaking it again.
