car turning off

i am on my friends name and i have a question,........i was driving like 5mph and my car shut off on me. I recently put in new coil, altanator,water pump,battary 2 months ago, distribuator.i think thats it. its a 1995 camaro z28.also when i step on it through each gear in WOT...most 1st through 2nd i hear a loud bang on the bottom of my car like under my shifter....

for it shuting off on you i would check the mass air flow sensor. is it poping any codes? As for the banging, its your transmission mount. i would say upgrade to a polyurethane one.

the poping is the trans mount, check for any TDC's. under what circamstances does your car shut off, hot cold under load? did this ever happen before the work, double check your firing order.
