Project LT1 & Powerdyne: TOP ENGINE BUILD hey you pro's.....can you guys help with the LT1 build-up? I want to keep the Powerdyne....and you guys have already told me....the LT4 Cam and heads are not the way to go. So.....can you guys chime in with ideas of what I can do to make the Z meaner? Like heads..."what kind"....camshaft "what kind".....intake "what kind".....
And I have Shortie Headers.....should I go to Long Tube Headers? And what brand should I buy?
Also...who can tune the ol 1993 EPROM for this build up?

PCMsforless can burn you a chip for your application or give Ed Wright a call.
Definately go with long tube headers.

Hi I ran a PD for about 2 years with a few different engine combos.
This blower is a nice sleeper set up.
I ran a couple of different cams with the blower and the one that work out the best on the street was the low lift version of the comp cam 224/236 @ 114 lope sep. This was a awesome cam and kept pulling way past the recommend rpm use.
Also I can put you in contact with a place that sells replacement internal belts also
