Recommendations I just bought My 1997 Trans Am 
, and I had a few questions about parts and what not...
Im thinking about the Pro 5.0 shifter does anyone have any expierience with this part? Personally I think the existing shifter feels loose and I hope to achieve a more firm shift with this part
Im also trying to figure out what the best headers for my car would be, I saw pacesetters, but when i talked to a actual mechanic he told me that it would be more worthwhile spending more money and getting a set of decent headers from eldebrock or hooker. Does anyone have advice for me on this? If the pacesetters are not that good then which header by eldebrock or hooker should I go with?
Last question has anyone Removed their clutch? How big of a job is it to replace the clutch...And does anyone have a recommendation for a clutch because I have been hearing there are several clutches out there that arent very good and will be shot after about 10K of driving...I would like a nice heavy duty clutch that can handle extra power and will hold up to racing. Does anybody know of such a clutch?

pacesetter LT's are good headers, i would prefer hooker or pacesetter but not edelbrock... replacing the clutch isnt that bad either... not 100% sure about a 97 but the hardest part can be getting everything loose from the clutch fork, i think the 97 has the fork not the hydrolic setup. its just sometimes a pain... and personally i love the Pro 5.0, you will love it... big difference over stock.. easy install.. i have an auto but have installed and driven the pro 5.0 and love them
