Default Really low Dyno numbers...

A couple of months ago it put down 218 with mods listed in sig and a slippin A4. Got a new tranny put in and took it back yesterday. Minus the shift kit now, it put down 228. It isn't getting enough fuel. Other than a fuel filter and/or a fuel pump, is there anything else it could be?

id say you need to hook it up to a datalogger. Do you have a tune on it? A4 cars usually put down less but it should still be alot higher than that. could be pulling timing due to false knock or another reason.Maybe your motor is in poor condition but I'd still say you should get it logged and tuned.

i notice you have a k&n kit on your car. this could contribute to the problem. check the mass air sensor and see if it is dirty. what can happen is oil from the k&n can get on the mass air sensor element and cause it not to see all the air coming in to the engine causing it to run lean. if it is dirty get some electrical cleaner and clean it off. also how is the ignition system on the car opti, wires, plugs etc.?

My car has a SLP CAI and cat back ( not sure what else, def stock head, NO headers, has damn stock exhaust manifolds on it ) I managed 296.7rwhp and 306.9 tq I'm very happy with the A4 right now. Plus my car was HORRIBLY tuned and running extremely lean. Once I get it tuned was told to look for 5% increase. I would check air filter, plugs, and fuel pressure. I was reading an article last month where they upgraded the Lt1 fuel pump and got like 16rwhp.
