Default Low oil pressure at idle

Whats up fellas? Just wanted to know if anyone has experienced low oil pressure at idle on thier 120k+ mi. Lt1. The car runs great and all maintenence is done myself, an ASE certified tech. I run Mobil 1 5w-30 and just got rid of of misfire problem(Opti of course). Im thinking the misfires caused excessive bearing clearances due to an imbalance of piston speed. Also, do you guys think its too late for an lt4 conversion? Obviously it would be better to rebuild before but I'm ithcing to go faster sooner. Thanks a lot.

Once mine heats up it idles at around 20 PSI and when driving it jumps back up to mid way (40) or slightly above on my LT1.
I thought it was just because of my cam but I guess they all do that??
A friend of mine who has similar mods had his mechanic put a better spring in his stock oil pump when he built his block and now he always reads 40 PSI.

Is it hurting anything over time with that low pressure at idle or is that ok?
