Saw off your exhaust at the exhaust manifolds, remove the MAF screen, hack up the intake box to make room for more flow, bypass the throttle body coolant, make a custom CAI out of scrap tubing, home port the throttle body, etc. all that can be done for $0!

Yeah I was thinking $450, since he said he would have that. You can get a wet system for around $450-$500.

leave the maf screen alone.
it's not worth the .5 HP you MIGHT.

There are sponsors here that could beat that ebay price for
the headers easily.
Check the Sponsor GP/Sale forum

350 u could get a cai, a tuner, a MAF, flowmaster or u could save it, 350 is not enuff to do a cam or start with headers really

or maybe some springs or s sfc's

i bought mid tubes wit y-pipe from pacesetters for 240$ they have some kind of coat but i have no idea what it is.

depending on what you are going to do with the car it might be a good option to get a set of mid tubes and use the rest of the money you save and buy some parts. here is an idea

mid tubes 240$
underdrive pulley 50$
ebay air intake 40$
thats 330$ for ya so you have 20$ spare for gas

don't waste ur money on an underdrive pulley. THey are useless. I think u can get a set of hooker lts for around 350-400.

I personally would rather have Pacesetter LT's than hooker, especially due to the price difference. If you have $450 you have just about enough to get coated LT's and an ORY. That and a CAI would be my next 2 mods for you.

Why don't you just tell him to get a set of tail lights for all the good it's gonna do him. A cutout isn't gonna do a whole lot. If u are gonna get 2 or 3 different little mods than a cutout would be ok. I would rather spend the money and get some longtubes.

Very good for the price, the only issue I see with it is that it is slipfit. So make sure you get a couple Band clamps rather than the conventional style U clamps.
