New To The Club **Pics Now Added Well i just bought a Black 1997 Trans Am with WS-6 hood and wheels, black leather interior, monsoon sound, t-tops, the works. And its a 6 speed. Its got 85,000 on the clock and i only payed 5500 for it, I definitely love the car, unfortunately the guy replaced the rear end because the gears in the rear end on the car were 4.10's and they whined a bit so he put another one in since he thought it would sell faster, but this one isnt posi, he gave me the other one so its probably going to be downgraded to 3.73's and put on the car. I definitely love the car but hate the one wheel peel. My plans for it are headers and full exhaust, and a lot of suspension work, im not looking for too much power since its already powerful enough for me as i am only 16 years old and this is pretty much a first car. Cant wait to start working on it.

Congrats, I got my car at 17 and I love it. Just be careful and don't put too much money into it until you know what u want. Welcome to the boards as well, there is a lot of great information being passed around.

yea, ive been here a little while and ive learned a lot so far, also from driving my car for the first real time today i realized i really dont want that much more power right now until i learn to handle it, sound, handling, and looks are going to be my main concern and im really going to just put headers and a catback, some suspension upgrades, and maybe eventually black zo6's

Damn Ahmed....That is a nice Trans am you should get WS6 emblems on the back to make it like a real WS6....but its Hot you be killin in the streets.......Keep up the good work and keep it clean....lol
wow u dont realize what u have yet your car is beatiful and u stole it for 5500 Plz take very good care of you car!!! First thing you should get is things to take car of it, Car cover, Cleaning products and big floormats for everyday drving.

smartest thing i have heard from a 16 year old with a sports car....... smooth car...... just make sure you have the money for normal maintenance and keeping it as nice as it is............ there is alot of helpful info for newbies...... just do a search and u'll find 99% of what u want/need to know

thanks again guys, im really in no hurry to get myself killed or loose such a beautiful piece of machinery, im ber hesitant about putting the 4.10's in but everyone at the shop tells me im crazy for not keeping them, o well. I've decided (with a little suggestion from my parents) that im not going to get my license till atleast 2 months after the 4.10's go in, have that much experience with them before i go on my own. 4.10's, Long Tubes, powdercoating a bunch of stuff, and suspension work is all thats being done to it, now as i get older and more experience ill probaby do a bit more but until then im going to have plenty of fun with it now
mumu, we're going to have to meet up sometime again, been a while since ive seen you. O well, hurry up and get that car sold and we'll both be taking over.
