fuel system help My car is still getting hard starts, after changing the fuel filter and replacing the fuel pump, plus my 'service engine soon' light comes on with a code that says 'fuel mix too lean in bank 2' Which i thought had to do with the fuel pump dying out, but no, it still shows up. I've got new injectors standing by, but they are a higher rating and I need to wait until I get the LE1 prior to putting those in. I haven't checked the stock injectors to see if that's the problem. This is really annoying, does anyone have any suggestions of where I should look next? Does anyone know what that code really means? As far as what is to blame?
Just shooting in the dark but the fuel pump feeds both sides so a weak pump wouldn't be the culprit cuz it's feeding both sides equally. Looks to me like the only way it could tell if one bank was lean would be through the O2 sensor so it might be bad. But the sensor might be fine and truly is picking up a lean condition and in that case would be injector related. Check your voltages on bank 2 with a voltmeter.
