who is running LE setup

how many people are running lloyd elliots le1 package and what kind of numbers are you running at the track.

I have been running Lloyds heads for a couple years. My first setup went from 12.00's@113mph with a custom cam and stock heades. I sent the heads to Lloyd and put them back on still stock valves in the heads and same cam. The car ran 11.66@117mph on it's first outing with the 3.42's and not dynotuned. Well I broke some main caps on the shortblock while spraying 150HP on it. So, I built a stronger bottomend with a CC306 cam and some bigger valves and went 11.20@120mph N/A and 10.17@134mph on a 200shot leaving easy. Now he just finished a set of fully ported Trickflows for me and the car is a beast even w/o any tuning yet. So you decide if his heads work or not. Later Clint

i just got finshed installing the le1 and just wanted to see what it might be running in the 1/4 mile. i get my mail order tune today. i am scared to take it to the track with the 10 bolt in it, i don't think it will hold up, i was looking at putting a 12 bolt in it soon.

If you are running an auto you will be fine on the 10bolt. The only thing is if you put lower than 3.42 gears b/c the gears are weaker. I was running the LE1 setup whe I ran 11.66@117mph. Later Clint

i have the six speed and it has 3.73 gears

Hey T/ALT1 i have a 2 bolt bottom end and i was going to be spraying a 150 shot i have it studded did you actually break the cap or did it pull the bolts??
