Default Roller lifter advise

Ok ive heard good and bad things on comp "r" series lifters i can get a brand new set never used for $150 out the door no tax no shipping.I,m putting together my motor right now and i had a little metal run through my old motor due to a spun bearing so i know some metal got in my stock lifters what do you guys think????

are they the old r's or new ones the new ones are the ones with the issues,

you can take apart the stock lifters and clean them out, thats what i did when i put my engine back together.
