Just joking there Bret. I'm prepared to use a nozzle setup if necessary after we get the bugs worked out N/A and see what kind of numbers we can pull.

Being that your car is OBD II, tuning might even be more difficult as the OBD II LT1s are a little more sensitive to radical changes. As a few people already have mentioned, tuning will be tough. Being that my car is a stroker and supercharged (and the different intake/throttle body), it made more sense to me just to go with a FAST and not worry about tuning issues. I'll make sure to pick up a FAST for ya the next time I stop by FLP.

Expert? Shadap you! I can't talked to you or I will get banned from multiple forums

I figured the main reason you needed the aftermarket hood was to clear all the piping for your supercharger. I didnt' think about the dang elbow taking up so much room.

Heh! Well, mill that sucker because I don't want to have to do the ghetto cowl mod! (and the fact that I know I'll try to fit a plate on there without telling anyone!)

FYI... Custom sheet metal elbows that do fit under the stock hood.

No not yet. Gonna try before I install the FAST system. Just trying to get all of my ducks in a row for this season.

I ran the 396 in 2004 with a LT4 intake and direct port NX kit. It ran the 9.85 @ 140 and high 10's n/a.

With this new intake and conversion to solid roller... I have not run at the track yet. It did dyno much better than with the old LT4 intake. I will keep you posted on the track times.

is there much, if any benefit to running a single plan efi intake over a port matched stock intake, on a car with ported heads and a SMALL cam?

Yes there is. A single plane can flow more air and restrict the heads less along with giving better intake manifold tuning in the RPM range of the motor so you produce more TQ.
