quick: intake inlet elbow & airfoil
quick question
im trying to order a intake inlet elbow. there's two brands for sale, vortch and trickflow. on the trickflow model there seems to be a divider in the middle of the elbow and the trickflow doesnt have this divder.
does anybody know if this divider will cause for less horsepower or will it work exactly the same as the other??
what air foil should i buy???
thanks in advance

I would think the divider will help keep the airflow directed at the actual opening better. The powerdyne elbow also has a divider. I don't know that you'll see any difference in power or torque numbers though.

Dyno tests show the 1LE, Trickflow, and Vortech elbows are all the same HP-wise, with one exception: when the engine is really hot, the 1LE remains cool while the others actually heat the incoming air slightly. You will not NOTICE any difference, though.
