radiator overflow lines?

radiator overflow lines? I have a 96 LT1-Z28. I removed my radiator and I'm installing a replacement. Anyway, there are two overflow lines just below the cap. Can anyone describe were each run?

the top one is for the coolant overflow reservoir. the one below that is the steam release/return line from the back of the heads.
the overflow is located below the battery so the line goes down below the battery. the steam release line comes runs along the passenger side of the intake i believe and up in front of the alternator.
