What do I need for 12's?

I hate to be a thread stealer but I'm also a little curious as to what my car could run in the 1/4 mile. My mods are listed in my sig. It still has the stock gears in it and I don't have any dyno numbers. Any input would be appreciated, thanks guys.

Jay, if you go with a converter (which you should) Transmission Physicians in Tampa will do good work and install the converter for you. Also, PM Gator on this board, or the RX board and he can help you with the choice of converter.

I do have the stock 3:23's on my car. I don't know about going with a gear. I think having a converter would be plenty. A 3:23 is a decent gear in my opinion. (I'm already spinning with these)

Steez your converter shaved .4 off your time? Was this before the headers?

01_Ram_Air on the RX board went from 13.5's to 12.5's with just a converted. Granted he has an LS1 but still, you get the idea.

It shouldn't be too much of a difference. I think he dynoed 286Rwhp on those runs.

I am guessing 13.4 to 13.5. You did not mention a tire, so I assume street tires, which you will roast with your mods. With good tires and a good alunch, high 12's.
