Default TSP Duals for LT1

Went to texas speed.com and was looking around and i saw the exhaust section then i wnet to True dual setups. I go clicking on that and it brings up more info about it, but in that info it says great performance for you late model LS1, and this kit is for 98+ LS1 cars. I found all this in the 93-97 LT1 section. Does TSP make a TD kit for LT1? I emaild Jon, but havent gotten a reply (its been 1 day, not a big deal) im just curios.

The LS1 cars driver's side header exits at an angle, and the TSP setup allows this.

Since LT1 headers exit straight back, the TSP setup would take some serious modification to make work.

Look in Summit or Jegs, they've got generic TD setups that would likely suit you better.

I thought about it, but instead of paying $420 for theirs, I made my own for $210 with parts from Jeg's.

It might probably be easyer to modify your set of headers to fit the TSP X. The big difference between most ls1 headers is that the driver side is angled toward the side of the car, and lt1 long tubes point straight back. It would be interesting to see if the collector was cut and a small angle welded in how close it would be to fitting that TSP X.

Have a local shop build you a custom true dual exhaust system. That's what I did, and it turned out great.

My advice exactly. Alot cheaper than the tsp stuff, and an easier install.
