Hey guys I'm asking this question for a buddy of mine who is stationed in Iraq and will be completing his 14 month tour in 3 months. He is looking for a head and cam setup for his 97 6 speed. I want to find out the combo that is still streetable but will put out the most power. Any proven packages and track times will be helpful as well as any supporting mods. Thanks alot

There are a lot of good vendors and I don't think it all that good idea to try to lable one best. They are all constantly learning and one upping eachother and finding more power.
A quick list to consider has to include Advanced Induction, Lloyd Elliot, Combination Motorsports, but if you look at the list to the right I bet there are at least half a dozen sponsors who could all do well.

Yep, check the sponsors, they know best. I think a LE1 package from Lloyd would be a good start for him, very streetable, about $1500-1700 with supporting mods. And a lot of power for the money. He might also want to look into an LT4 Conversion, it's a bit more expensive, but some people prefer it because of the looks, streetability, and it all comes in one package.
