That sounds like a hell of a deal to me, i'm in the process of building my 396. when u get a good set of heads for the short block and intake you'll prolly have close to 7 in it all to together. With a good tune it'll be a beast.

Did you verify the quality of the crank? Sometimes they'll throw a cast crank in there and you'll be thinking it's a great deal when they just saved some cost on the crank. Not saying the cast crank won't be ok, but it depends on what you're doing in the whole scheme of things. Make sure you're comparing apples to apples.
