Default Surging in an LT1

Ok so my buddies car is running really bad on the low end. We raced last night and he was like Dude my car feels weird. So i took it for a spin and slammed it down low and it surges in the RPMs untill like 3k and 25-30MPH. Then it gets up and goes. I ran his codes a while back and he had **** load of em. Like low opti pulse and bad temp. sensors, throttle positoning sensor was off too. I told him not to run his car any harder than he has too, until he gets it fixed. For the record i told him it was his opti. Its a 93' LT1 too.

Thanks guys.

Yea, and he wants to "mod" his car. I think the first stage of modding your car is to make sure it runs stock first.

yea, it sounds like his opti, I just got done doing one two weeks ago on a friends car, and doing one tonight. Give him my number and have him give me a call, and I can check it out to be sure thats what it is. As well as making him a deal on it.

ok, tell him I will check it out for free, so he at least knows what the problem is and what it will cost him. I am finally down to 40 hours a week so I have a little spare time. didn't someone else you know just have theres done for like $1,200.00 or so?
